In conjunction with the Michigan Association of Community Mental Health Boards and other statewide advocacy agencies, Gogebic Community Mental Health Authority is hosting its 2nd Annual

Walk a Mile in My Shoes Rally

Together, we can make a difference by:

  • Educating legislators why mental health matters
  • Ending stigma related to mental illness & developmental disabilities
  • Educating others about how parity between mental health & physical health coverage is needed in Michigan
  • Promoting mental health wellness and why it’s important

Who Should Participate:  Mental health & developmental disability advocates, community associations, legislators,and the general public

 When:  Wednesday, May 29, 2013

Registration 10:30 a.m. ~ Program 11 a.m. ~ Walk to follow

 Where:  “New Pavilion” ~ Sunday Lake, Wakefield (in the event of inclement weather, the event will be held at the VFW, Wakefield)
